Congrats to Yuritza Escalante, who received the Best Poster Award at SAS!

Yurtiza Escalante received the Best New Idea Poster Award at the Society for Affective Science! This award recognizes an idea and presentation judged to be the most promising for the field of affective science by a panel of interviewers. Congrats, Yurtiza! This forthcoming work examines how having big swings in your emotions in daily life might be linked to having a brain that changes states more quickly.

 
 

Dr. Mallory Feldman successfully defends her dissertation!

Dr. Mallory Feldman successfully defended her dissertation entitled “Exploring neurophysiological contributions to emotion across the adult lifespan.” We are so proud of the TASL’s newly minted PhD! Dr. Feldman will start a postdoc at The Ohio State University in January! She’s pictured here with mentors Dr. Keely Muscatell and Dr. Kristen Lindquist and the newest honorary member of the lab, Rylan.
